THE GRATITUDE ACT

Brina is a Junior at Rutgers University, who wants to give back to the community. She started this organization in 2020 after she wrote a thank you card to her school's custodian. She received a call from the Vice Principal saying that the custodian was crying tears of joy and loved the card. This shocked her because it was a simple act of kindness. It was after that and during Covid-19 where Brina realized how local workers are taken for granted and should be shown more love. She loves art and wants to pursue a career in dentistry.
